Deburring Machine
Deburring is the removal of burrs and sharp edges from metal products. Burrs are small pieces of metal that stick to the surface of the sheet, mostly around the cut edges. These are caused by cutting processes such as laser, waterjet, punch or plasma cutting.
The deburring units used in the machines are generally sanding bands. Each abrasive has its own grit size required for different types of burrs and alloys. (abrasive sand). For softer alloys, finer grit abrasives are recommended, while for alloys such as steel, larger grit abrasives are best.
It can be combined with deburring, edge breaking and finishing operations. This will result in the machine not only removing burrs, but also an excellent surface quality.
